Black and white

Hi
I have been wanting to use a few pieces of black and white that have been staring at me from my desk. So here it is.
The butterfly was stamped on the black with clear stamp (shows a bit of color in the pic but it is clear). Perhaps the photo picked up colors from the blingy butterfly?
The inside has just a bit of the same as the front and the envelope is lined with some from there too.
The ribbon came from the stash.
That was it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Apple Blossom Time

Hi
It has been awhile (again) since I posted a card.
So many of the cards are dealing with spring so I decided that I needed to do one too. Although we still have a fair amount of snow and still more coming down.
This branch and flowers are from SVGCuts and were popped up with pop dots on an ivory panel embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The brown background was attached to a white card stock. The little pink ribbon is the same CS as the flowers with a little white ribbon on top. Of course, the butterfly with its bling came from my stash.
The interior of the card is the negative from the branch (hate to waste anything) and it brings the outside of the card to the inside too.
The envelope is lined with the same pink as the insert.
That was it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

St. Patrick Day

Hi
This is a big card 51/2" by 81/2" but I needed to fit everything onto it. I had some pretty pieces of designer paper left over so attached them to white cardstock. Added the Shamrock Bubble Frame from Cheryl at http://cafexpressions.blogspot.com/
Of course, everything needs some bling so added green stickles to the inside of the shamrocks. The green carnation has been in the stash forever just waiting for a project. Since I have fallen in love with the accordian flowers it needed a home as well. The shamrock is a peel off.
On the inside I used an svg from My Adventures with Cricut, SCAL and Inkscape
but instead of coffee in the mug I made green beer.
This card is for my daughter who loves anything Irish. (of course, she is Irish on her fathers side and a wee bit on her mothers too lol.)
You may have to click on the pics to see better.
That was it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

White on white and butterfly

Hi
Just had to do a white on white card. Everytime I went near my desk there was a pull to the white ribbon and embossed paper.
I layered the cardstock that was bought already embossed onto white cardstock.
On top of that I used watercolor paper embossed with Cuttlebug's Victoria folder. Then using the butterfly and battenburg lace from Creatables of mariannedesign punched out of some vellum and pearlescent paper. The butterfly was punched twice so the wings would be popped.
The ribbon was wrapped around the two layers of cardstock and the bow attached to that with the hat pins.
I used an edge of butterflies from an svg cut from SVGCuts and inked them with gold to line the envelope.
White on white doesn't photograph very well but everything is white.
That was it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Quilt card

Hi
After seeing the lovely quilt cards on Curt's blog at http://curtsplayhouse.blogspot.com/
I just had to try one. This card is 51/2" x 51/2".
I layered the blue on white cardstock after I ran the blue through the Cuttlebug. Made the scalloped frame from a free svg from http://www.birdscards.com/and ran it through the Cuttlebug. Adhered the quilt top to beige cardstock and ran it through the Cuttlebug to give it that soft quilt look. Added some very old lace from my stash and that was it for me.
Can't say I am crazy about the card but, hey, you can't love them all. lol
Have a Blessed day.
